This is a special dress that strikes a balance between lovely, sweet, and interestingly smart for the girl in your life who has a big imagination. It features an adorable bodice with contrast piping, a peter pan collar, a scalloped peplum skirt, and a creative back bodice sure to please the eyes of your darling girl. It is my hope that this dress will spark hours of creative play that only the wonder of a one-of-a-kind handmade item can. My most ambitious wish is that one day, she will run her hands over the details and admire your patient love for her when unpacking it as a keepsake for her own children and be clothed in memories.
Recommended fabrics for the bodice, bodice lining, and skirts: cotton batiste, cotton lawn, quilting fabrics, other light to mid-weight cottons, or silk dupioni.
Recommended fabrics for the mesh underskirt and sleeve overlay: power mesh, nylon tricot, tulle, or lace.
